South Georgia Conference records, 1831-1929.

The collection consists of records of the South Georgia Conference and its predecessors, the Georgia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South and the Georgia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church from 1831-1913, 1927-1929. The records include minutes, roll calls, committee reports, reports of each district, treasurer's reports, and memorials on recent deaths. The collection also includes separate volumes containing the roll of the South Georgia Conference (1867-1875), minutes of the Legal Conference (1870-1927), minutes of the Book Committee (1858-1864) and Sunday School Society (1867-1873), and an account book (1927-1929) of Sunday School donations received from churches in the Conference.

The Georgia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church was established in 1830 in Macon (Ga.).
